Event Information

The Honolulu Marathon, Hawaii's largest, will celebrate its 31st running with 30,000 runners expected.

DATE:
December 11, 2005. 5:00am.

ENTRY FEE:
$140 by October 31, 2008; $170 from November l to November 14; $200 from November 15 until December 13. Online registration is the most convenient way to register but closes on November 29 at midnight.

TIME LIMIT:
All entrants are allowed to finish.

COURSE:
The course starts on Ala Moana Blvd., which means "path by the ocean". The first five miles runs through the commercial part of Waikiki and then heads along the Pacific past Diamond Head through Hawaii Kai and returning back to Kapiolani Park. There is a long gradual hill running past Diamond Head twice.

WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Expected temperatures range from 70 to 85 degrees. Humidity can be high.
