ItineraryFri., March 20 - Depart hotel at 10:00am for 2 1/2 hour tour of ancient Rome including a visit to the Coliseum and Roman Forum. Race number pick-up is located a few miles outside the center. You can get a taxi with some others in the group nearby to take you there. Sat., March 21 - Day free to explore Rome on your own. Meet in front of hotel at 6:30pm to walk to Restaurant Giubelio for a private pasta party. Sun., March 22 - Race Day! The starting area of the Marathon is an easy walk from the hotel. The perfect site for a post-race dinner celebration (at your own expense) is Piazza Navona at one of the many outdoor restaurants.
