Event Information

Date: May 31, 2008, 2:00pm.

Course: The two loop course starts outside the 1912 Olympic Stadium and follows a route that includes portions of the Djurgarden (The King's Deer Garden), The Gamla Stan (Old Town), and crosses the Vesterbron (West Bridge). You finish after circling 250 meters inside the Stadium before 25,000 cheerings spectators. Crowds are huge along the entire way since since running is a very popular sport in Sweden.

Weather: Average temperatures range between 45F-65F. Ideal conditions for running.

Entry: An official entry form will be forwarded to you after receipt of a completed tour application form and deposit by check. Entry fee is 680 krona or 75 euros (about 105 USD).

Eligibility: All runners must be 18 years of age or older on race day. There is a time limit of 6 hours. Any runners who do not pass the half-way mark under 2:50 minutes will not be able to continue on the course.

Awards: Every runner receives a medal and commemorative T-shirt.
